TARTAN Army hero Scott McTominay is set to be showpieced in a museum dedicated to Portuguese icon Cristiano Ronaldo – as a draught excluder.

A Scots firm which turns footie stars into door stoppers has received a surprise order for a giant McTominay cushion from the CR7 exhibition in Portugal.

It comes after we told how Scotland ace John McGinn was outselling superstar Lionel Messi on the StopperFC Etsy site.

Boss Ritchie Crossman, 46, said: “I got a random message on Etsy from an Portuguese guy in England who said he’s going home to work at Ronaldo’s CR7 museum in Madeira.

“He said they’d like a McTominay draught excluder because he had played with Ronaldo during his second spell at Man Utd.

“To be honest at first I just thought he was chancing his arm and trying to get a freebie.

“But then the payment came through as normal so I sent it off.

“He’d also bought a Ronaldo one from us so they could be lying side by side in Portugal.

“It’s a bit mad to think our McTominay could be getting viewed by thousands of visitors.”

He added: “Maybe one day McTominay will  have his own museum, especially when Scotland win the Euros.”

The CR7 museum was opened in 2013 to showcase 39-year-old Ronaldo’s trophy laden career.

It’s located in the city of Funchal – where the superstar was born – on the Portuguese island of Madeira.

Ritchie came up with the idea to flog the stoppers after watching players lying on the pitch behind defensive walls at free kicks.

He said: “Messi famously did it for Paris St Germain against Man City two or three years ago.

“It’s then we came up with the idea of making the draught excluders.”

Scotland skipper Andy Robertson is also available along with a host of other stars including Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland, Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane.

Old Firm legends Paul Gascoigne and Henrik Larsson can also be bought.

The CR7 museum has been approached for comment.

The draught excluders can be bought on the StopperFC Etsy page for £32 which includes free UK postage and packaging.
