Three former Celtic & Rangers bosses named among STV’s Euro 2024 team as full TV schedule revealed

FOOTIE legends Graeme Souness and Ally McCoist will spearhead STV’s Euro 2024 coverage.

The ex-Scotland and Rangers duo are part of a strong line-up of former players who’ll hit on our screens when the tournament in Germany kicks off next month.

Souness, 71, will given his insight from the studio while McCoist, 61, was perform his usual co-commentary duties.

The former Ibrox striker has become a favourite with viewers and saw TNT Sports sign him up a regular pundit for their Champions League coverage.

Ex-Celtic and now Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglu, 58, has also been signed up to give expert insight.

The coverage will be hosted by regulars presenters Mark Pougatch and Laura Woods.

Other pundits include former players Ian Wright, 60, Roy Keane, 52, Gary Neville, 49, Karen Carney, 36, Eni Aluko, 37, and ex-US referee Christina Unkel.

Commentary will come from Sam Matterface, Clive Tyldesley, Seb Hutchinson, Pien Meulensteen and Joe Speight, supported by co-commentators Lee Dixon, 60, and Andros Townsend, 32.

Connie McLaughlin will report from the Scotland squad with Gabriel Clarke on England duties.

STV has exclusive live coverage of the opening match between hosts Germany and Scotland in Munich on June 14.

The channel will also show England’s final Group game against Slovenia and will have picks one, two and three of the Round of 16 as well as first pick of the semi-finals.

STV will show what is likely to be one of the most anticipated early tournament games – the Group B match between Spain, who are among the favourites, and Italy, the holders.

Moving into the knockout rounds, the broadcaster will have the first three picks, plus the fifth and seventh picks from the Round of 16 ties, the second and fourth quarter-final picks and first pick of the semi-finals. Both STV and the BBC will show the final.
