FORMER Celtic boss Neil Lennon has won his £43,000 child maintenance court showdown against his ex-lover.
Jeniffer Jonsen, 48, claimed the 52-year-old had not paid her enough for their daughter, now 17.

But a sheriff has ruled her claim was “fatally flawed” and it was “impossible” to determine whether he owed her anything.
The former lover has vowed to fight on after losing a long and bitter child support battle in court— insisting “This isn’t over yet”.
The former Celtic player and manager has won his fight against claims he owed £43,222 in child maintenance to his ex.
Former model Jeniffer Jonsen, 48, insisted their daughter, 17 — who we are not naming — had lost out due to his failure to cough up.
Ms Jonsen has been ordered to pay Lennon’s legal fees, which are likely to run to thousands of pounds.
It comes after a hearing earlier this month in which her lawyer said the Northern Irish Hoops hero, who pays £1,500 a month for the child, should have been paying more than what was agreed in 2011.
We told in 2022 how he was served with a legal document stating he owed £43,222, which he disputed and took civil action against Ms Jonsen.
Sheriff Thomas Ward has now ruled there was no agreement regarding increases and Lennon owes nothing.
He said: “In my opinion, the charge is fatally flawed.
“The amount sought is inaccurate and this is admitted by the defender.
“On that basis alone, the charge cannot stand.”
Approached for comment by The Scottish Sun, Ms Jonsen said: “I can’t say anything as this isn’t over yet.”
Lennon previously demanded a DNA test to prove he was the child’s biological dad. In 2008, after a test, his name was added as the father.
His lawyer Marie Clark had claimed her client had been “prejudiced” by wrangling over the payments, 13 years after an agreement was reached.
She said: “The charge is defective because it’s about a raise in the aliment. There’s a huge prejudice to the pursuer.”
Sheriff Ward replied: “It could be said there’s a huge prejudice to the child because she is not getting what she deserves.”
We told how Ms Jonsen became pregnant in 2006 after what Lennon described as a “moment of madness”.
His long-term partner Irene McCloy, 47, fell pregnant around the same time.
Lennon’s agent has been approached for comment.
